Daniel Kraft is a Stanford and Harvard trained physician, scientist, entrepreneur, inventor and innovator who speaks about the impact rapidly developing technologies will have on the future of healthcare and medicine.

A world renowned visionary in medicine, Dr. Kraft has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and healthcare innovation. His expertise has led him to chair the Medicine Track at Singularity University and serve as the Executive Director for FutureMed, an organization focused on leveraging convergent, exponentially developing technologies in health and medicine over the next decade.

As a physician, Daniel Kraft specializes in hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplantation, and has done extensive research in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.  

Dr. Kraft’s work has appeared in multiple scientific publications, including Nature and Science, and he holds medical device, immunology and stem cell related patents. In addition, he has founded two companies focused on his inventions and vision of the future in healthcare.

Daniel Kraft captivates and engages his audiences with a fast paced view into the near future of medicine that changes their outlook and influences their own behavior regarding health.

Dr. Kraft has also been a keynote speaker for many high-profile organizations, including TED, TEDMED, the Economist Forums and NPR.

Following undergraduate degrees at Brown and medical school at Stanford, Dr. Kraft was board certified in the Harvard combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency program at the Massachusetts General and Boston Children’s Hospital, and completed Stanford fellowships in hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplantation, and extensive research in stem-cell biology and regenerative medicine.  

Dr. Kraft is also the inventor of the MarrowMiner, an FDA approved device for the minimally invasive harvest of bone marrow, and founder of RegenMed Systems, a company developing technologies to enable adult stem-cell based regenerative therapies.

Additionally, Daniel Kraft is an avid pilot and serves in the California Air National guard as an officer and flight surgeon with an F-16 fighter Squadron. He has conducted research on aerospace medicine that was published with NASA, with whom he was a finalist for astronaut selection.
