Dr. Peter Linneman is widely recognized as one of the leading strategic thinkers in the real estate industry. He has published over 80 articles during his career. Dr. Linneman's courses at the Wharton School of Business, as well as his research, focus on real estate and investment strategies, mergers, acquisitions and international markets.

Dr. Peter Linneman serves as the Albert Sussman Professor of Real Estate, Finance and Public Policy at the Wharton School of Business, the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on real estate and investment strategies. A member of Wharton's faculty since 1979, Dr. Linneman served as the founding chairman of Wharton's Real Estate Department, and was the Director of Wharton's Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center for 13 years. Peter Linneman is also the founding co-editor of The Wharton Real Estate Review.

Peter Linneman's book, Real Estate Finance and Investments: Risks and Opportunities, has been adopted at over 40 leading universities including Yale, Brown, New York University, Columbia, Duke, Brigham Young, Villanova, George Washington and Wharton. It has become the leading reference source for those interested in real estate finance and investment and was recently translated into Japanese.

Dr. Peter Linneman was recently cited as one of the "25 most influential people in real estate" by Realtor Magazine. Dr. Peter Linneman, holds both Masters and Doctorate degrees in economics from the University of Chicago. For nearly 30 years he has provided strategic and financial advice to leading corporations, including: Sunbelt Management, Lubert-Adler Realty Funds, Paramount Group, General Electric and IBM.

Peter Linneman is the founder and Principal of a series or private equity funds that invest in long term land developments. His quarterly research publication, Linneman Letter, is widely read throughout the real estate industry and is viewed as a major thought leader in the business.

During a one-year leave from Wharton, Dr. Linneman served as Senior Managing Director of a global real estate investment firm. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Rockefeller Center Properties. Peter Linneman also has, and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of both public and private companies.
