Deborah Norville's Key Accomplishments Include . . .
Deborah Norville is a two-time Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist with nearly three decades of reporting experience.  The anchor of the top-rated syndicated news magazine, Inside Edition, she is credited with bringing new strength and respect to the program, seen by roughly five million daily viewers in the U.S. and  30 countries worldwide.

Deborah Norville is also an accomplished author.  Her first book, Back on Track: How To Straighten Out Your Life When It Throws You A Curve, is a motivational self-help book which draws upon her experiences at NBC's Today Show. I Don't Want To Sleep Tonight offers children and their parents suggestions to keep frightening dreams away. It became one of Golden Books’ strongest sellers. I Can Fly followed with advice on building children's self esteem.

Her latest effort is, Thank You Power: Making the SCIENCE of Gratitude Work for YOU.  In it, Norville shares the findings of years of research conducted on the quantifiable benefits of living a grateful life.  Offering exercises for harnessing “Thank You Power” and stories of individuals who’ve employed it, she also details the specifics of why Thank You Power works. While the notion of being thankful may seem obvious, scientists are actually proving the impact that gratitude can play in one’s physical and emotional health.  Norville points to several comprehensive studies around the country that show how people who focus on being grateful or who are made to feel appreciated, even in small ways, become more positive, work harder, and have more energy.
