Don successfully worked his way through the University of Memphis, graduating with a degree in Sales. After becoming the #1 salesperson in a national training organization, he established his own training firm and shortly thereafter was in demand as a professional speaker.

He was elected by his peers to the presidency of the National Speakers Association, and he has received its prestigious “Cavett Award,” as a member of the year. He was also honored as the annual recipients of SME-I’s International Speakers Hall of Fame Award. Don has addressed over two-thirds of the Fortune 500 companies, and has been selected by a number of them to help develop their own corporate university. Today he is the Chairman & CEP of U.S. Learning, Inc. and has made over 5,000 speaking appearances. Don is also regularly featured on national television and currently serves on five corporate boards. Don is the author of The Sale and co-author of five other books.

His clients include FedEx, International Paper, Sara Lee, IBM, Sherwin-Williams, Bell South, Target Stores, Hewlett-Packard, Oracle, Bank of America, Prudential, GTE, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sony, Cellular One and hundreds of trade associations.
