Dr. Jack Groppel is an internationally recognized authority and pioneer in the science of human performance, and an expert in fitness and nutrition. Dr. Groppel is an Adjunct Professor of Management at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. A world renowned performance coach, he has shared the professional speaking platform with world figures ranging from former Presidents
George Bush and Gerald Ford to former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and the late actor Christopher Reeve.
Dr. Groppel’s most recent book is The Corporate Athlete which Leonard Lauder, Chairman and CEO of the Estée Lauder Companies called: "must reading for everyone who wants to manage his or her business, career, or profession effectively while living a balanced life." Dr. Groppel has also written more than 400 articles about stress, fitness, and nutrition.
A Fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine, Dr. Groppel is also a Board certified nutritionist in the American College of Nutrition and a former Research Associate to the U.S. Olympic Training Center. He served for 16 years as the Chairman of the National Sport Science Committee of the United States Tennis Association.

Dr. Groppel developed the Corporate Athlete® concept for his training program while serving as an associate professor of kinesiology and bioengineering at the University of Illinois helping both business executives and athletes increase performance levels. In 1992, he combined his program with Dr. Jim Loehr to form LGE Performance Systems.
LGE Performance Systems offers training solutions ranging from executive training programs and on-site corporate training to keynote presentations and train-the-trainer programs. LGE's corporate headquarters and world-class training center are located in Orlando, Florida with an additional site in Chicago. Corporate clients include The Estée Lauder Companies, Smith Barney Citigroup, GlaxoSmithKline, Pepsico, and Procter & Gamble.
