Ken Shelton is the founder, CEO and Editor-In-Chief of Executive Excellence, a 21-year-old leadership and publishing firm.

Since 1984, Ken has served as editor and publisher of Leadership Excellence magazine, the world’s only monthly publication dedicated to developing leaders of teams and organizations; Personal Excellence, the magazine of self-leadership; Sales and Marketing Excellence, the magazine of market leadership, and a new launch, Health and Fitness Excellence. During these past two decades, Ken has written more than 1,000 articles, interviews, commentaries and reviews for a variety of business publications. He has also edited and published over 60 books on business ethics, management and leadership as editor-in-chief of Executive Excellence Publishing. For 12 years, he has also provided services as a literary agent specializing in leadership books.

As a speaker and coach, Ken travels the world. He has been a featured speaker at leadership conferences in New York, Florida, California, Ohio and Georgia, and internationally at management conferences in
China, Spain, Mexico, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Germany, Australia, Turkey, Ireland, Scotland, Dubai and Argentina.

Ken has been interviewed by renowned business publications, including Inc., Harvard Business Review, Business Week, Fortune, Forbes, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Working Women, Success and Bottom Line. He has also been featured on dozens of radio and television programs worldwide.       

Ken has a Master’s degree from Brigham Young University and San Diego State University and has participated as a presenter in more than 100 leadership conferences and forums. He also spent four years as Assistant Director of Public Communications for Brigham Young University, where he was the CASE national editor of the year. Under his editorship, BYU Today was named university magazine of the year.
