Dr. Laura Berman is the director of a specialized healthcare facility for women and couples in Chicago. Dr. Berman is also an assistant clinical professor of OBGYN and Psychiatry at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Laura Berman has been working as a sex educator, researcher and therapist for over 20 years. She is the author of the New York Times best-selling book, Real Sex for Real Women: Intimacy, Pleasure & Sexual Wellbeing.

Dr. Berman also authored the New York Times best-selling book For Women Only: A Revolutionary Guide to Overcoming Sexual Dysfunction and Reclaiming Your Sex Life as well as Secrets of the Sexually Satisfied Woman: 10 Keys to Unlocking Ultimate Pleasure and The Passion Prescription.

Considered a thought leader in her field, Dr. Laura Berman has appeared on numerous national media outlets including NBC 5 Chicago, WBBM-FM in Chicago and is a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has also appeared on Fox News and CNN and in The New York Times, USA Today, and every major woman's magazine. Dr. Berman is a weekly contributor to The Today Show, giving viewers advice about sex and relationships in her TV segment and column, In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman. She also stars in Showtime's hit reality TV series, Sexual Healing, which follows real-life couples through therapy with her.

After obtaining a Master's Degree in clinical social work and a Doctorate in health education, specializing in human sexuality from New York University, Laura Berman went on to complete a training fellowship in Sexual Therapy with the Department of Psychiatry, New York University Medical Center.
