Mack Dryden's Key Accomplishments Include . . . In addition to being an electrifying motivational speaker and hilarious emcee, Mack Dryden is a comedian/actor/writer who has appeared on numerous television shows, in several feature films and whose writing and voice are heard on more than 500 radio stations every week. Creating hilarious custom humor for a wide variety of industries and clients comes naturally to the former staff writer for Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, and his stories of surviving two battles with cancer, and a stay in an African prison, are as inspiring as they are laugh-out-loud funny. Since 1980 Mack Dryden and his stand-up comedy partner Jamie Alcroft, have performed as the comedy duo "Mack & Jamie" appearing on The Tonight Show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, 125 episodes of their own syndicated TV show, Comedy Break with Mack & Jamie and on many other comedy and variety shows. The duo still performs their unique brand of comedy at corporate and association meetings across the country and abroad. Before performing stand-up comedy and writing on the staff of Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, Mack Dryden survived on "goat butt soup" in a Moroccan jail, not knowing if he'd ever be released. He lived not only to tell the tale, but--amazingly--to inspire, instruct, and make audiences laugh out loud about it as well. Mack Dryden chronicled the ordeal in his book Fluffing the Concrete: Making the Most of Foreign Prison-or Anything Else. The book is a harrowing and hilarious look behind the walls of a foreign prison - and into the mind of one of the funniest humorists and compelling motivational speakers working today. It's a quick, simple guide to making to most of any given situation: whether it is getting a promotion, learning a new language, making a public speech -- dealing with the things in life we choose to do, or not to do.
