Russell Bishop is a senior consultant with Vantage Partners, LLC. An expert in negotiation and relationship management, Russ has worked around the world with Fortune 500 companies in aerospace, healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, information technology, telecommunications and oil and gas. Russell brings 30 years of consulting and operating experience to his practice, helping companies in how they plan, form, operate, review and adjust critical partnerships. His work focuses primarily on two key areas of partnering: how organizations form and manage strategic alliances and how they manage key supplier relationships.
Russ has been a thought leader in the implementation of strategy for 25 years. Prior to joining Vantage Partners, he was an Associate Partner at Andersen Consulting focusing on the implementation of complex change strategies. He co-founded the Productivity Development Group, a management consulting firm specializing in the implementation of strategic change initiatives, co-founded Insight Seminars, a human relations training organization, and co-founded Actioneer, a software development company specializing in browser-less Web access and messaging.

In addition to his consulting practice, he has lectured on productivity for the executive MBA programs at UCLA, University of Texas and Washington University in St. Louis. Russell previously served on the Board of Directors for the University of Santa Monica and was a charter member of the Advisory Board for the Points of Light Foundation. He received a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the Davis Campus of the University of California and currently resides in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Valerie.
