BigSpeak, a Santa Barbara-based speakers bureau representing the world’s top motivational speakers, business gurus, authors, entertainers and icons, is expanding and currently seeking an entry level professional candidate who would like to take his/her drive to succeed to the next level and overtime potentially grow their business career into an Agent/Consultant booking speakers, thought leaders and subject matter experts into corporate conferences, conventions, retreats and events worldwide.

- Responsible for warm and cold calling prospects and list building via Google Searches and LinkedIn
- Contacting potential customers by telephone and e-mail to secure sales appointments
- Be a brand ambassador by communicating clearly and confidently about BigSpeak
- Convert calls/contacts to appointments/opportunities
- Accurately record calls made and appointments set in our ACT
- Cultivate prospects through regular follow up and contact
- Working in concert with Sales Agents to grow new or existing accounts
- Engaging Speakers for referrals, international travel schedules and other activities
Skills & Qualifications:
We are seeking a self-motivated responsible overachiever to prospect and set appointments by creating relationships by phone, or by any creative approach. Specific qualifications include:
- Experience in service sector or inside sales and/or appointment setting
- Highly organized in your daily calling efforts for maximum efficiency and success
- Excellent phone etiquette and closing skills when securing appointments
- ACT or SalesForce and marketing automation sales experience a plus
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a start-up or rapidly changing environment is a plus
- Track record of success
- Must have high integrity
