Treat People Well for Bigger, Better Business

Doing well by doing good is a theme negotiator and BigSpeak EVP Ken Sterling thinks about often. From a business standpoint, being kind and creating a culture that plays well with others internally and externally results in not only healthier professional relationships, but also a lighter conscience and less stress.

This has broad applicability, but in BigSpeak’s particular case, we put extra focus on fostering close relationships with our clients, both speakers and those who book them. The team’s relationship with clients is more than purely transactional, and we aim to build personal bonds with those we work with frequently. This can range from encouraging open and honest communication on business deals to the more personal side of things,  from casual lunches with long-time speaking partners, holiday treats for our favorite collaborators, and beautiful baby blankets sent to exclusive clients expecting a new family member.
