We are actively working to have our public roster current with Keynote Speech titles, and Summaries. Some Speakers do not have a set title or summary for programs. Instead they customize for each. Other speakers only do moderated conversations. If you do not see content here, please contact us. We also have ample information off line that we can share. Or in the event we do not have the information, we can contact the speaker to provide and share.

About Keynote Speaker Pete Carroll

Pete Carroll is one of only three coaches to win a Super Bowl and a college football national championship, having led the Seattle Seahawks as head coach and executive vice president from 2010-2023. In addition to these accomplishments, he was also named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. Carroll is known for his inclusive leadership style and his ability to create an understanding atmosphere within teams.

Before his tenure with the Seahawks, Carroll was the head coach at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2001-2009, where he won seven consecutive Pac-10 titles (2002-2008), two national championships (2003-2004) and led the Trojans to a 97-19 record. Over his time at USC, Carroll had a record-breaking 34-game winning streak, and 53 of his players were drafted into the NFL, including 14 first-round picks.

A former two-time (1971-1972) All-Pacific Coast Conference free safety at Pacific, Carroll was inducted into the Pacific Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995.

He began his coaching career at the college level, before moving to the NFL where he has served as defensive backs coach for Buffalo (1984) and Minnesota (1985-1989), defensive coordinator for the New York Jets (1990-1993) and San Francisco 49ers (1995-1996), and head coach for the Jets (1994), New England Patriots (1997-1999), and Seattle Seahawks (2010-2023). Carroll led the Patriots to a 27-21 record and two playoff appearances during his time there.

Carroll’s first season with the Seahawks saw him make over 200 roster changes, leading to a division championship and making the team the first 7–9 team in NFL history to win a division title. In February 2014, he led the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl win after defeating the Denver Broncos, 43–8, in Super Bowl XLVIII. He became the Seahawks’ all-time wins leader in 2018 and celebrated his 100th game win as the Seahawks head coach in 2019.

In January 2024, Carroll transitioned to an advisory role with the Seahawks. The following year, in 2025, he agreed to a three-year deal to become the Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders but was released after his first season. Carroll’s leadership approach goes beyond the football field, with initiatives founded over the years to help individuals, companies, teams, and young people connect with their life’s purpose and perform at their best.
