Here are some of the leaders in his immediate family… His dad, Brian, was captain of the ’85 New England Patriots Super bowl XX team. And, his maternal grandfather, ‘Pie’ McKenzie, won the ’70 & ’72 Stanley Cup as part of the ‘Big Bad’ Boston Bruins. He’s had 3 college presidents in his family (currently his uncle is the president of Rutgers University). His great grandfather Bill Trent helped start the UNCF & served on 2 presidential cabinets.
David is a supporter of Project Linus, donating a portion of his proceeds to help support. Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the US who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. His “Grandma Kay” was a quilter.
