Celebrated around the world every March 8th, International Women’s Day acknowledges the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women worldwide. A day for both observance and introspection, it is the ideal time to reflect on how far we’ve come and how far we still must go to create a truly equitable world, in which women are able to pursue the same opportunities as their male peers and free from the threat of gender-based violence.
