Season of Thanksgiving

Here at BigSpeak, we are thankful for you! After a whirlwind couple of years, one priority of ours has remained the same: creating relationships with our clients and sponsors. In a time that has forced many of us to pause and re-evaluate what is truly important, it is essential to reflect on the things we are grateful for.

In the spirit of thanksgiving, we wanted to share some of the reasons our BigTeam is thankful this year:

MAX PECK

Sales Associate & Assistant to Executive VP

“I’m thankful for my lineage and immigrant spirit. To all the men who took risks and made sacrifices many, many years ago so that I could be born in the United States. All women who trusted their husbands and crossed oceans to raise families and pass down our stories and traditions. Without all of their collective efforts, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

MIKAELA HARN

Strategic Account Associate and Assistant to the President

“I am thankful for the opportunity to live in a new house in Santa Barbara, CA!”

BARRETT CORDERO

President

“I’m thankful for our team’s support of each other, while we navigated this historic period together.”

NICOLE YOUNG

Strategic Account Advisor

“I am grateful for family, friends, health, kindness, and love (and a delicious homemade chocolate chip cookie).”

KEN STERLING

Executive Vice President & Chief Learning Officer

“Reflecting on the last 20 months, I’m super grateful for more time with family and our amazing team at BigSpeak.  Every one of our team has been incredible, connected, helpful, patient, and kind.”

We also asked our Clients and Partners what they are thankful for this season:

“The support of my HR department-there was been so many challenges in my life, my company and everyone around me. So grateful to have the support of a real professional and uplifting department – along with being employed by a Company that cares in big ways and small…some silent–yet appreciated none the less.”

“I am thankful to work with educators who swung at pandemic curve balls and sliders and reinvented their teaching styles in order to keep helping students. I am thankful that we’ll never be the same in higher education — we’ll be better. ”

“I’m thankful for this pandemic, as strange as it sounds, because it offered me the opportunity to spend extra time focusing on my family and my own personal health journey.”

“Good health and family!!!”

“I am thankful for learning to go with the flow and a newfound flexibility–relaxing into the now. I discover different and new ways of doing business, developing partnerships and giving myself and others compassion in the reality of all that we don’t know. ”

“I am thankful for colleagues who see beyond the work we do to the “whole person” and who support each other through whatever crises the world throws at us. Our willingness to support each other means that we all can bring our best selves to work every day and make a real difference for our clients, our people, and the world we live in. ”
