About Keynote Speaker Brian Banks

As an All-American high-school football star committed to USC, Brian Banks found his life upended when he was wrongly convicted of a crime he didn’t commit. Despite lack of evidence, Banks was railroaded through a broken justice system and sentenced to a decade of prison and probation. Years later, Banks fought to reclaim his life and fulfill his dreams of playing in the NFL. Motivated by his powerful philosophy, “The Power of Choice,” Banks offers a deeply personal perspective on one’s mindset, overcoming unimaginable challenges, and the pursuit of freedom.

A feature film about his life was released in theaters nationwide August 9th, 2019 starring Aldis Hodge playing the role of Brian.
