Carolyn Everson is a leadership keynote speaker, advertising legend, angel investor, and the former Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions at Facebook. At Facebook (now Meta), Carolyn led a team of over 4,000 people in over 55 countries and was responsible for over $80B in revenue. For major advertisers, Carolyn was “the face of Facebook” and helped build Facebook into an advertising juggernaut.

Over her career, Carolyn has won numerous awards for her work in advertising and as a leader: Fortune listed her twice as “40 under 40”; Business Insider named her one of the Most Powerful Women in Advertising; the American Advertising Federation inducted her into the Advertising Hall of Achievement; the Advertising Women of New York honored her with the Changing the Game Award, and the Reisenbach Foundation gave her the Distinguished Citizen Award for her contributions to the Marketing Industry and to society.

Prior to Facebook, Carolyn worked at Microsoft as the Corporate Vice President of Global Advertising Sales and Trade Marketing Teams, and for MTV Networks as the COO, EVP, Strategy & Operations MTVN Ad Sales. After leaving Facebook, she served briefly as President of Instacart before becoming an angel investor.

Currently, she serves as a board member for several prestigious organizations: Coca-Cola, Walt Disney, Under Armour, Villanova University, Columbia Medical School Board of Advisors, and the Humane Society of the United States. 

Carolyn is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as the Chair of We Day, New York, which encourages and supports young people who are creating transformational social change.

Carolyn earned a BA in Liberal arts and Communications from Villanova University and an MBA from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar.
