She has over 23 years of experience conducting in-depth state and federal investigations pertaining to complex financial crimes, violent crimes, transnational criminal enterprises, money laundering, public corruption, human trafficking, narcotics, and civil rights violations.

Janet has extensive trial experience with multi-defendant cases in federal and state courts, excellent communication and interviewing skills, with a proven track record for results. She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions from the Department of Justice, the District Attorney’s Office, the FBI, and other federal/state/local agencies.

In addition to her investigative background, Janet possesses many years of training, experience, and certifications in peer-support counseling, crisis intervention, critical incident response, and suicide prevention programs. Janet has a passion for mentorship, training, teaching, and helping others. Her breadth and depth of experience as well as understanding and expertise in trauma-informed interviewing techniques bring a unique proficiency to how she conducts sensitive investigations.
