      About Keynote Speaker Jeanne Meserve

      Jeanne is currently International Security Expert for Canada’s CTV News. During her career as a correspondent and anchor with CNN and ABC News Jeanne earned the profession’s highest honors, including two Emmys and the Edward R. Murrow Award. She also contributed to two CNN Peabody Awards.

      Jeanne is a member of the Homeland Security Experts Group and the Transatlantic Commission on Election Integrity. She is also a member of the board of the Space Foundation.

      Jeanne moderates discussions on a wide array of topics, including technology, trade and security. Recent engagements have included AtlanticLIVE events, a NATO session on technological innovation, the Aspen Security Forum, the Munich Security Conference, the Halifax International Security Forum, and global conferences of the International Women’s Forum.

      Meserve speaks on topics including communication, media and election security.

      She has provided communication coaching to leaders of corporations, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and government. She has prepared clients for media interviews, presentations, moderating, congressional testimony and crisis communication.

      While at CNN Jeanne anchored worldwide coverage of the Yitzhak Rabin assassination and the death of Princess Diana. Other assignments included the Washington snipers, the Elizabeth Smart abduction, and the Virginia Tech shootings. She was a key member of the CNN political team during the 1996 and 2000 elections. After the 9/11 attacks, Meserve created CNN’s homeland security beat, covering intelligence, law enforcement, cyber, aviation, border and port security. While at ABC News, she covered the US State Department and reported from the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
