A serial founder with 25 years leading innovation, including work with everyone from Apple to Xerox (and most of the letters in between). She shares proven frameworks that work across contexts.

During her tenure as Director of Innovation in Microsoft’s Cloud Business, JoAnn led teams in developing billion-dollar opportunities, including the Regenerative Datacenter of the Future—transforming critical infrastructure from liability into asset. Alongside her co- author Dean Carignan, she published The Insider’s Guide to Innovation at Microsoft, which demystifies how innovation happens at one of the most innovative companies in the world.

In 2024, JoAnn co-founded Regenerous Labs, a venture studio building regenerative businesses by design, with six long-time collaborative partners. Unlike many speakers, she doesn’t just talk about innovation—she’s actively building new businesses while working with AI daily. Her insights come from current practice, not past wins.

JoAnn’s work has been featured in Bloomberg, Forbes, Financial Times, Big Think, and more. She is an active alumna of Villanova University, where she studied mechanical engineering and philosophy.
