Kevin Sweeney is a decorated combat veteran having flown missions in both Vietnam and Desert Storm. He spent 23 years in the Air Force and Air National Guard attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel. Kevin is the only pilot to have landed a plane successfully with the 2 engines ripped off the left wing during a night combat mission in Desert Storm. For this he was awarded the United States Air Force Distinguished Flying Cross, a medal awarded to fewer than 1% of pilots. Kevin’s incredible flight has been featured in Reader’s Digest and been a featured segment on the A&E channel.

Author of two books, Kevin has held executive positions in Fortune 50 corporations and holds an MBA and two bachelor’s degrees. He currently serves as president of a local nonprofit organization that supports wounded military. Kevin and his wife live in Southlake, Texas. They have four children and five grandchildren.
