Shortly after it was published The Intentional Networker was named a Finalist in ForeWord Review’s Book of the Year competition and swept the entire non-fiction category in the IndieDiscovery awards.

She is a founding board member, a past president, membership chair, and founder of the writers group of the Austin chapter. She also serves on NSA’s Chapter Leadership Council. Here she trains and advises chapter presidents and leaders and develops strategies to grow strong local NSA chapters and leadership. She is part of the 2015-16 team that rewrote and revitalized the training curriculum for the Chapter Leadership Institute of NSA.

Patti has earned numerous awards from the Association of Women in Communications and was a finalist for the Austin Business Journal’s Profiles in Power / Women of Influence Award. She was a nominee for Working Mother magazine’s Raising a Ruckus Award and is also founder of what is now known as Freelance Austin, a consortium of freelancers and solopreneurs in Central Texas.

When Patti isn’t working with her clients, writing, deepening her knowledge of human interaction and leadership, or working on her next book on conversation and connection, she is cycling, swimming, traveling, sipping coffee or wine, and spending quality time with friends and family.
