An interactive keynote experience where the future meets the funny
Format: 60–90 minutes, including facilitated debrief · in-person only · audiences from 10 to 10,000

Put Mitch onstage with three audience members and their new boss: an AI that is about to complicate everything. What follows is a controlled collision of comedy, collaboration, and consequence as the room confronts decision paralysis, accountability, leadership, and the moment human judgment quietly gets handed away. Built on Mitch’s proprietary Imprompting™ methodology, Decision Heist™ turns spectators into participants and leaves the audience asking one unforgettable question: Can AI pull off the Decision Heist—or does it still need us?

There is a new anxiety, and it finally has a name: FOBO, the Fear of Becoming Obsolete. Sixty percent of workers are afraid AI will take their job this year, while only 13% of organizations are seeing real results from what they spent on it. Your audience is living inside that gap between the promise and the fear, and this is the talk that closes it. With the data to prove it, Mitch shows that the companies winning with AI are not the ones with the fanciest tools. They are the ones that figured out what only humans can do, and protected it.

Format: 60-min keynote or 90-min breakout · optional 30-min Q&A · virtual available

This is not a talk about enthusiasm or positivity. It is a keynote about passion as a professional skill: the ability to connect to why your work matters, bring that into the room, and make the people around you feel it too. People have gone quiet in how they show up to work, and it is happening in every industry. Mitch closes that gap live, using music, humor, interaction, and three decades of stage experience. It wakes a room up and sends everyone back into the world on fire.

Format: 60 to 90 min · optional 30-min Q&A · half-day workshop version and signed book bundles available · virtual available

Your audience is losing about 51 working days a year, plus real money, to friction they never created and cannot always see. Not the accidental kind. The deliberate kind, built by systems designed to profit from their time and attention. Based on Mitch’s book, launched June 2026, this talk names who builds these systems, why they build them, and exactly how to fight back. He calls out the three kinds of friction killing productivity and AI adoption right now, then breaks the news that two of them cannot be fixed by buying more software. A direct AI briefing for the leaders responsible for getting it right
Format: 60–90 minutes · optional 30-minute Q&A · fireside format available · virtual available

Built for executives and senior leaders, The Human Element cuts through AI hype, fear, and vendor noise. Mitch gives decision-makers a clear view of what AI can do, where implementation efforts break down, and why human judgment remains the foundation of every successful strategy. Leaders leave with a sharper understanding of adoption, accountability, workforce readiness, and the decisions that should never be handed entirely to technology.

About Keynote Speaker Mitch Mitchem

Mitch Mitchem is a keynote speaker, author, and technology founder who helps organizations adopt AI without losing what makes their people valuable. As CEO of HIVE, an AI company built around the human element, he and his team have trained more than 120,000 people to use AI for real, measurable results, with a 97% implementation rate. That practical track record, paired with three decades on stage, has made him one of the most requested and highest-rated speakers on the subject. VISIT Denver named him its highest-rated speaker in ten years, and his keynotes have anchored events for Disney, the Orlando Magic, the Colorado Rockies, Visit Indy, MPI, and Informa’s Pharma Forum.

Mitch’s path to the AI stage is an unusual one. He spent his early career in live entertainment as a Second City improv alum who studied Meisner technique in Los Angeles, headlining shows for years in Chicago before performing at Universal Studios Orlando. He then spent nearly fifteen years in leadership development and experiential learning, where he became the first sales leader in his company’s history to close a single six million dollar innovation-training contract. Turning to technology, he founded High There, one of the first social networks in the cannabis space, which grew past 300,000 users in under eleven months. That experience produced the insight that now anchors his work and his TED Talk: technology means nothing without the human element.

Today Mitch leads HIVE across consumer AI, custom enterprise technology, and AI-enablement training. He is the author of F*ck Your Friction, a book about the systems quietly stealing our time and money. He has reached more than 10 million people across 12 countries and over 4,000 stages, with one throughline in everything he does: amplify the human, don’t automate them away.
