A seasoned strategist and operator, Whitney’s career is defined by driving top-line growth and operational transformation across both multibillion-dollar enterprises and venture-backed environments. She began her career at Bain & Company, where she advised Fortune 500 executives on growth strategy, performance improvement, and organizational design across capital-intensive and tech-driven sectors, including private equity, healthtech, subsea telecommunications, energy services, and higher education. She honed her operational execution leading multi-shift distribution and logistics at McMaster-Carr, and later served on the launch team for Google Express, building and scaling fulfillment operations in the Washington, D.C. market.
As an innovation leader and entrepreneur, Whitney is the CEO of Afara Global, an innovation advisory firm that partners with corporate, startup, and nonprofit leadership to design and launch scalable business models. She is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Equity Commons, the research and innovation engine behind HumanKind Health, an AI- and VR-powered clinical communication infrastructure platform leveraged by world-class institutions including Mayo Clinic, Carnegie Mellon University, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
