About Speaker Amber Selking…
As a corporate human resource professional and former Division I college soccer player at the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated magna cum laude, Dr. Selking understands the mental toughness it takes to be successful in work, sport, and life. With an expertise in human performance and sport psychology, Amber leverages her former athletic and corporate business experiences to challenge others’ current ways of thinking and unlock their personal potential for achievement. She currently serves as the Mental Performance Consultant to Head Coach Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame Football team, the Director of People Performance at Lippert Components, Inc., and as an adjunct professor of Strategic Human Resource Management in Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
To better understand the art and science of human high performance, Dr. Selking received a master’s degree in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Denver, and her PhD in Applied Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Missouri. She founded the Selking Performance Group, where their mission is to help individuals, sports teams, and business organizations unleash performance excellence by tapping into the power of Mindset and Leadership.
Dr. Selking coaches teams and individuals to optimal performance in both sport and business, and believes in a strengths-based approach to optimizing human potential amid challenging environments. Combined, her expertise is in optimizing human performance by teaching clients how their brain works, providing strategies to build mindsets that facilitate success, and partnering with leaders to build systems that are most conducive to high performance. Her podcast, “Building Championship Mindsets,” is growing exponentially & is influencing thinking around the globe!
