Brown’s creative signature is designing cosmetics to highlight a woman’s natural beauty. Her first company, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, revolutionized an industry. Within four years of its launch, it was acquired by The Estee Lauder Companies, and Bobbi served as its Chief Creative Officer for 22 years before parting ways in 2016. In October 2020, she unveiled Jones Road Beauty which follows the no-makeup makeup philosophy Bobbi has always championed.
In 2021, Bobbi was featured as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women and in 2022, was named one of Forbes’ ’50 Over 50′ most influential women. She served on President Obama’s Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. Bobbi holds honorary doctorates from Montclair State University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Monmouth University, and Emerson College, from which she also graduated.
