Trust is a fundamental driver of results and a key to effective leadership. Yet how we build that in today’s global marketplace demands more agility to navigate change and respond to differences. Relying on our default mode won’t work.

We need to be mindful of the motivations, preferences, and conflict/communication styles of our team members, clients, vendors and external partners, while recognizing our own blind-spots. When practiced, this skill, called “cultural fluency” can accelerate trust and drive performance.
