With political upheaval and economic instability continuously lingering globally, the international landscape grows increasingly unpredictable.  A new era begins with Donald Trump as U.S. president.  Who is Trump? What policies will he pursue? Is he as dangerous as his critics point out? These questions are more relevant than ever in a world of rising political polarization within and between nations, of greater ambiguity of the U.S. role globally and a dangerous security vacuum internationally. The drop in global commodity prices has played a key role in destabilizing many nations in the Americas. The experiment of a united Europe remains increasingly fragile. Much of the Middle East is marred by conflict and instability.  Rising tensions in East Asia threaten peaceful growth. Uncertainty will prevail for the foreseeable future as dynamics fluctuate and a new global paradigm has yet to emerge.  Within the context of this setting, internationally renowned global affairs analyst Marco Vicenzino will discuss the forces driving transformation and the road ahead for the Americas, the U.S. and beyond in a rapidly changing world.  As a native-New Yorker familiar with Trump’s New York street-style attitude and approach, Vicenzino has been a keen and accurate observer of Trump’s electoral rise from the start of his campaign and continues to provide deep insight into the President-elect’s continuing evolution from the rhetoric of his campaign to the reality of power of the presidency.
