Mikaela Shiffrin is an American alpine skier. Shiffrin is the most decorated American alpine skier in World Championships history. She has the most World Cup wins of any alpine skier in history and is the only one to have reached the milestone of 100 victories.

About Keynote Speaker Mikaela Shiffrin

Mikaela Shiffrin has a storied career in alpine skiing, with multiple World Championships and Olympic gold medals to her name. Notably, Shiffrin holds the record for the most World Cup wins of any alpine skier, having reached 100 victories. She is also a three-time Olympic gold medalist and a four-time Olympic medalist overall. Shiffrin has claimed five overall World Cup titles and has won the World Cup slalom discipline title nine times.

In 2025, Shiffrin won her eighth career Alpine world championships gold medal, solidifying her as the most decorated American alpine skier in World Championships history.

Shiffrin’s influence extends beyond the ski slopes, with Time magazine naming her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023. Shiffrin expanded her sphere of influence in 2025 by joining the ownership group for National Women’s Soccer League expansion club Denver Summit FC. In the same year, Shiffrin received a Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Dartmouth College. She also hosts the podcast “What’s the Point?”

Shiffrin has also been featured in numerous television and radio appearances, discussing her experiences and sharing her expertise. Some of these include The Late Show with David Letterman, the NBC television special How to Raise an Olympian, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and the NPR radio show Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!
