We are actively working to have our public roster current with Keynote Speech titles, and Summaries. Some Speakers do not have a set title or summary for programs. Instead they customize for each. Other speakers only do moderated conversations. If you do not see content here, please contact us. We also have ample information off line that we can share. Or in the event we do not have the information, we can contact the speaker to provide and share.

About Keynote Speaker Andrew Bastawrous

Andrew is a Social Entrepreneur, Eye Surgeon, Professor in Global Health and multi-award-winning business leader and speaker.

Andrew has delivered two main stage TED talks and multiple TEDx talks. His 2014 TED Talk led to global media interest and was the beginning of the early stages of Peek Vision, a social enterprise that provides software and data intelligence to tackle the outrageous issue of over 1 billion people unnecessarily living with sight loss despite treatments being available. From a very personal experience as a child, he had a vision for vision which has led to a unique career as a surgeon, researcher, entrepreneur, movement builder and fund co-founder.

Andrew’s talks have been described as inspirational, motivational and “walking the talk”. Blending science, personal experience and storytelling to challenge business as usual thinking, identifying and pursuing purpose, aligning organisations and movements around a clear vision and how to make that practical for audiences to use in their own circumstances.

Andrew and his organisations have received awards from TED, Rolex, UBS, Ashoka, the World Economic Forum and in 2023 Andrew was recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours with an OBE.
