Alison Hadden is a marketing executive in the tech industry, a veteran speaker, lifelong athlete and adventurer, and now, a cancer warrior after being diagnosed with advanced breast cancer at a fit and seemingly healthy 38 years young.  In February 2020, her inspiring TEDx Talk “Confronting Death to Live a Fuller Life” garnered a standing ovation and seven weeks later, a brain scan revealed a metastatic tumor the size of a lemon which was successfully removed during emergency brain surgery.

In February 2020, her inspiring TEDx Talk “Confronting Death to Live a Fuller Life” garnered a standing ovation and seven weeks later, a brain scan revealed a metastatic tumor the size of a lemon which was successfully removed during emergency brain surgery. 

Now, Alison’s excited to share what she believes is the most important information of all – how to live every day like there’s No Time to Waste ®. Through a combination of wit, intensity, and insight, she shares the story of how her advanced cancer diagnosis drove a sense of urgency to double down on her intentional way of living and provides actionable ways audiences can start living a life of rich meaning and purpose before they leave the room. Her unique blend of humor and vulnerability makes her a memorable keynote speaker, perfect for conferences, corporate events, annual meetings and sales kickoffs. 

Alison’s been engaging business audiences of 50 to 5,000 on stages across North America, EMEA and APAC for the last 15+ years. She’s the former VP of Consumer Marketing at Mindbody, the world’s leading wellness technology company, previously public (NASDAQ:MB) and later acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $1.9B. She was the Head of Brand & Product Marketing at Glassdoor, helping the company grow from 40 to 1,200 employees over the course of six years before its $1.2B acquisition by Recruit Holdings, and was named a Brand Innovators “40 Under 40”. Prior to Glassdoor, Alison built and led Global Sales Training & Enablement at Active.com/The Active Network after a career in software sales over the course of 10 years and a successful IPO in 2011. 

When not keynote speaking, advising companies, and adventuring all over the globe, Alison spends her free time trail running, snowboarding, hiking, and playing with her dogs in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
