Lee Clow¬†“loves telling the stories brands have to tell.” In 1984 he created a TV commercial for Apple Computer that ran during the Super Bowl, and 25 years later people still say it’s the best commercial of all time. Whether it’s the crazy Energizer bunny still going and going or introducing the world to Sony’s PlayStation, the celebration of sport in the Adidas “Impossible is Nothing” campaign or the love you can feel for dogs in Pedigree’s “Dogs Rule” campaign, all of this is work people want to watch. And perhaps there’s no better example than Lee’s famous work for the rebirth of Apple that used walls, pages and films that recognized those who “Think Different.” And it continues today in the most recent work Lee has created as Apple introduced the world to iPod and the amazing iPhone.

Since he began with ChiatDay and its humble beginnings at a hotel in downtown Los Angeles, the agency has grown to be one of the ten largest global networks and is without dispute one of the most innovative and awarded agency networks in the world. Recently, TBWA was named by ADWEEK as Global Agency Network of the Year and the most-awarded Agency Network by Creativity magazine in 2007. Lee Clow is a member of the One Club Hall of Fame, the Art Directors Hall of Fame, and the Museum of Modern Art’s advertizing Hall of Fame, and was recently honored by the Clios with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
